Black Chalk Wild Rose 2021

Get to know: Black Chalk Wild Rose 2021

A beautifully poised English sparkling rosé wine from the rolling vineyards of Hampshire’s Test Valley.

Tasting Note

Black Chalk Wild Rose 2021 is a bright and expressive English sparkling rosé that shows just how good Hampshire fizz can be. It’s a lovely wild-rose pink in the glass, with inviting aromas of fresh strawberries, raspberries and a touch of cranberry, plus a gentle hint of brioche from its time on the lees. The palate is full of juicy red fruit with a soft, creamy texture and a lively sparkle, balanced by crisp, zesty acidity. It finishes long and fresh, with plenty of charm and character – a confident, classy English rosé that’s made for celebrating (or just treating yourself).

Top food pairings:

  • Sashimi and maki rolls with soy and ginger
  • Charcuterie boards with soft cheeses
  • Spicy lamb koftas with burrata and tomato salad
Kate Says

“This is English fizz at its most elegant – delicate yet full of life. I love it for long lunches, celebrations, or when you just want to toast something special.”
