'Le Tue-Boeuf' and it's wines date right the way back to the middle ages where they were noted for supplying the local nobility and the kings of France. Still owned by the Puzelatz family, Jean-Marie and Thierry tend to their 10 hecatre etstae in Les Montils as well as renting 6 hectares of vineyards in Touraine. Manual harvest and indigenous yeats fermentation, around 12 months ageing in old Burgundy barrles before being bottled without fining of filtration.
Full of beautifully lush black raspberry and floral aromas. On the palate ripe red currants and bright blackberries combine with lemony acidity and a long, balanced finish.
