Tenuta del melo is part of the Rossi Cairo's family estates, includes 15 hectares of very well exposed young vineyards, farming . Vines row on a mineral, marly soil,which is typical of this area. The soil's fertility is stimulated with preparations made of fermented manure, minerals and herbs that enhance the the nutrition and quality of the grapes in harmony with the rhythms of nature. Tenuta del Melo produces an extremely fine Gavi D.o.c.g.
Colour is straw yellow, with greenish hints. The aroma offers a particurlarly fine mineral feeling and notes of honey and candied citron.Excellent as aperitif and as accompaniment of hors d'oeuvres and of fish and vegetable first courses.
