Soalheiro, "Germinar" Alvarinho 2019

“Germinar, more than a wine, an awakening of awareness and equal opportunities.”

Soalheiro have teamed-up with APPACDM (the Portuguese Association of Parents and Friends of Mentally Disabled Citizens) to produce this special-release wine. They invited people from this local charity to be involved in all aspects of producing this wine, from vineyard to label. The project is designed to contribute to the volunteers’ emotional and professional development, in a way that is tailored to each individual’s abilities, skills, and needs. Soalheiro are also donating 3 Euros from the sale of each bottle to the charity.

The wine is a special selection of Alvarinho, made in Soalheiro’s classic style, though with a slight lean towards mineral elegance.
