This Pet Nat uses the ancestral method, a single fermentation finished in bottle, to create a light and elegant sparkling wine. The yeasts responsible for fermentation remain in the bottle, providing it with cloudiness. Bright lemon yellow color, the Atlantic influence is felt, highlighting the wine’s minerality and allowing the soft floral aromas. More fresh fruity flavour on the palate flavor and present acidity showing Loureiro’s character to the leesy, mineral Pet Nat.
It can be drunk alone, as an appetizer for a conversation between friends, in a late afternoon in a bar.

Soalheiro's Alvarinho Pet Nat is a sparkling wine inspired in the ancestral method, a wine with natural movement. The vinification process, uses little intervention, at the end of alcoholic fermentation, when the wine has about 20 g of residual sugar, it is bottled, where the remaining sugars ferment and gain the typical bubbles of sparkling wine. Innovation has led Soalheiro to wines that in the past seemed unlikely to experiment with the Alvarinho grape variety. Their Pet Nat confirms the variety’s versatility and has delivered a light and youthful sparkling wine.
Cauda Pet Nat Loureiro is made with Loureiro grapes from a middle-aged vineyard, to the west of Monte do Faro in Valença, on the left bank of the river Minho, a territory of choice for the Loureiro variety, where the Atlantic influence is felt, highlighting the wine’s minerality and allowing the soft floral aromas of the variety to be revealed.
