Sarabande, Misterioso Grenache Syrah. 2018
Domaine La Sarabande was establish so that Paul and Isla Gordon could fulfil their dream of making, serious, long living, robust wines. the vineyards are farmed organically and the grapes are hand harvested, naturally fermented and unfined and unfiltered at bottling. Misterioso is fantastically complex for a wine at this price point. Full of baked dark cherries, roasted peanuts, leather and nutmeg then with strawberries, dried herbs and pepper on the finish along with fine tannins and balanced acidity.
