For more than half a century, the production of Cantina Sampietrana has been based on the cultivation of the typical "Apulian tree": peculiarities of Puglia, they are trees that are more than 40 years old.
Still, from these ancient plants we produce the varieties "Negroamaro, Primitivo and Malvasia"; the harvest is done manually, according to tradition, giving life to refined and full-bodied wines made in Puglia.
A blend of Negroamaro 80% and Montepulciano 20% from Brindisi DOP Riserva. This wine is extraordinarily elegant. Aged in small oak barrels. Aromas of berries with smooth rounded tannins and a long finish. Pairs well with spicy dishes, roast meats and mature cheeses.
