Moorooduc Estate is a small family run wine business with a philosophy of hands on care in the vineyard, minimal use of chemicals and minimal intervention in the winery to produce amazing food friendly, complex wines that express their own terroir with a gentle nod to Burgundy. The Chardonnay is is mainly from the families McIntyre vineyard, 100% wild yeast barrel fermented in French oak and then matured for 10 months on lees.
Elegant, yet powerful with lemon, nectarine, with hints of salt, spice and cedar on the nose. White peach and lemon on the palate with toasted brioche and salted popcorn, elegant and complex.
