French Pet Nat from the Alsace, a blend of Auxerrois and Pinot Gris, full of melon, peaches and zesty lemon, there's a grippy texture from the time spent on the lees, fun and approachable sparkling.
Sophie Kumpf comes from a long established Alsatian wine making family and in 1990 with her then husband set up Kumpf and Meyer focusing on the local varieties and minimal intervention wines.
Fantastic on it's own but a good sparkling to try with a variety of foods from sushi to a lightly spiced chicken broth.
