Get to know: Hans Herzog Pinot Noir

Tasting Note

Bursting with ripe berries with hints of dark chocolate and spicy cloves this is a perfect blend of sweet and savoury held together with elegant tannins and fine acidity. Burgundian style Pinot at it's finest from Marlborough.

The perfect partner to a roast rump of lamb.

Producer Info

Established in 1994 Herzog is an artisan family winery acclaimed for growing handcrafted wines from their exceptional 'Grand Cru' organic vineyard in Marlborough. Fermented with wild yeasts the wine spends 24 days on skins for a gentle extraction of colour and tannins before being aged in  French barrels for 20 months. Bottled unfined and unfiltered this is a wine which will continue to age for up to 10 years.
