Gosset is the oldest wine house in Champagne, founded in 1584 by Pierre Gosset in the village of Ay. Their grapes come from mainly premier and grand cru vineyards surrounding Epernay, the winemaking style is characterised by minimal intervention, extended intervention, extended ageing and no malolactic fermentation. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are the focus here.
Gosset Grande Reserve Brut is the signature blend, aged for 36 months before disgorging. Full of ripe peache and mirabelle plum. full bodied and generous with great structure and some red fruits from the Pinot Noir element with clean, citrus acidity on the finish.
