The 20 year tawny comes from the older vineyard sites using a blend of the traditional Douro varieties including Touriga Nacional & Touriga Franca. Complex dried figs, prunes and apricots with almonds, hazlenuts and honey. Exceptionally long and elegant with an overload of aromas and flavours.
Fermented in traditional Lagar (granite tanks) before being trodden by foot and transferred to stainless steel tanks for a period of time before being transferred to wooden casks for 20 years before bottling.
Excellent with aged manchego or parmesan as well as honey and almond cake.
