100% Gamay from 40 year old, organic, vineyards in the village of Brouilly, Beaujolais. Plenty of ripe fruit with blackcurrant, blackbery, strawberry and raspberry combined with a little more structure than other Beaujolais, such as Fleurie. The tannins are well intergrated with the concentration of fruit and balanced acidity. A really good red to pair with a tagine or something with a little spice.
