Exactly what you'd expect from good value Chablis, lots of green apple and citrus, lean minerality and a refreshing finish. Fruit forward with balanced acidity, generous and rounded mouthfeel with a slight creaminess from 12 months maturation in tank prior to bottling.
A very food friendly wine that you could enjoy with chicken or turkey as well as lighter fish dishes.
"If you are looking for a good value Chablis, you should definitely try Domaine Fournillon. Their wines are crisp, refreshing and full of generous fruit and characteristic minerality. This style is so appealing and food friendly. Definitely a dinner table essential."
This is a 23 hectare family run domaine situated in the small village of Bernouil, close to Chablis. They currently only bottle 10% of the production but are expanding to meet demand. The wines are crisp and mineral and typical of the Chablis region.
