Lots of ripe strawberries and red cherries with a soft texture and hints of cappucino and liquorice. The tannins are plush and backed up with a bright acidity.
Chateau l'Enclos has been going since 1898 before being taken over in 2006 by Stephen and Denise Adams who own a number of properties around Bordeaux. The estate is around 10 hectares with vines averaging around 30 years old, the majority of which are Merlot with a little Cabernet Franc and Malbec also grown.
this is a wine to keep in the cellar for 10 years of so yet to show it's true potential.
