Furmint is the dominant variety in Tokaji and it shines here, blended with a touch of Harslevelu and Yellow Muscat it's full of zesty lemons and limes. It's super smooth with floral honeysuckle, crunchy green apples and ripe juicy pears with a crisp, cleam finish.
In 2000 the Laborde family purchased the Megyer vineyards and started to replant vines and focus on quality driven wines to really showcase the potential of the Tokaji region for dry wines as well as their famous sweet wines.
A lovely wine to have with shellfish, a light prawn linguine would work a treat.
