Another winner from the False Bay range. This is a ripe, juicy Syrah with a meaty savouriness. Medium-bodied and easy to drink with fine tannins and refreshing natural acidity. Made with wild yeast fermentation and ageing in large French oak foudres.
"Honestly I think this wine just keeps getting better. For anyone who wants a good value shiraz that has lots of pure fruit but isn’t too big and peppery, this is a great choice. It's makes for a great barbecue wine."
Named after South Africa's most iconic bay, which frames much of the country's premium winelands, the False Bay range of wines are crafted by Waterkloof Cellarmaster Nadia Barnard. Grapes from mature, often old and always naturally balanced vineyards are sourced from the Cape's Coastal Region. Natural balance in the grapes is a pre-requisite as this sustainably certifed and South African bottled varietal range is made with minimal intervention and fermented with wild yeast.
