Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling Shipping & handling is calculated by the weight of the package and will be added automatically when you place the order.
Delivery is free (for orders of 12 bottles or more) to Central Manchester (Postcodes M1, M2, M3 and M4) or to Didsbury and Chorlton (Postcodes M20, M21). If your order is less than 12 bottles we charge a standare £5.00 to cover costs.
If you are buying wine to be delivered to Scotland or Ireland, we will have to contact the courier service to make sure that the automated charge is correct as there are some parts of these countries that are more expensive to deliver to than others. Please accept our apologies, but unfortunately we cannot be more specific than that without having an exhaustive list of postcodes on the site.

Delivery Schedule If we have the items you have ordered in stock, we will ship your goods on the same day as we receive notification of your order wherever possible. If for any reason items that you have ordered are out of stock and we have to order them in, we will notify you via email or telephone to make sure that the lead time is not inconvenient to you.
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added.
Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Guarantee We want to make sure that you are always happy with the wines that you've bought from us. Should you find any wines to be faulty, please return the bottle with the contents to us as soon as possible - the next day is always best, so that we can determine the problem with the wine for our records. We will offer either a full refund or another bottle to the same value.
