We love the wines from Priorat and this is a cracking example. The palate is packed full of dark fruits and spice with hints of coffee and tar like notes, with a slight minerality on the finish, very typical of wines from this region
Reserva riojas require a minimum of 12 months oak ageing and 24 months in the bottle before release (although in practice the bottle age is usually a bit longer by the time it gets to you). Izadi's wine is a deliciously integrated example.
