An elegant red from the Southern Rhone with rich red cherry fruits, cedar spice and a smooth long finish. A great tipple for under a tenner.
From one of the most exciting and upcoming producers in the Northern Rhone. This is an unoaked Crozes - vibrant fleshy palate with a great complexity and character.
This estate is converting over to full organic practices. A upfront fruity style, full bodied and smooth with a juicy palate. This still has plenty of life left in it, do you could drink now but will cellar a good 5+ years.
LIMITED AVAILABILITY: Lots of upfront fruits balanced with a real savoury character. A wonderful wine that should stand the test of time.
100% Syrah this is a dense and powerful wine. Ripe red berries, plums, prunes and cherries with the beginnings of a lovely earthiness. Great wine for game or cheese.
A Grenache dominated red with silky red fruits and hints of Syrah spice. A cracking wine for the money.
A stunning wine with a high proportion of Grenache. This is a thinking mans wine, pop it in a decanter and you will not be disappointed.
One of the oldest domaines in the region, this family owned winemaker produces high quality reds with warm fruit, cinnamon spices and liquorice on the palate and a lengthy finish.
From a brilliant young producer this is very much in a Chateauneuf style with plenty of dark black fruits and white pepper spice.
Classic Cotes du Rhone, richly fruited with all the clove and cinnamon spice you could want.
Parker's 'Superstar of Rasteau' Andre Romero specialises in wines from this new Villages area. Powerful and expressive (no surprise that RP likes it then) it is certainly a star of our Rhone shelf!
A relatively high proportion of Viognier, this is a dense wine with ripe cherry fruits & hints of pepper on the finish. Drink now but will age well for the next 3 - 4 years
A classic Southern Rhone blend with a spiciness that will develop into a svaoury character with time
A perfumed bright example of Cornas. Vincent only leaves a small number of bunches per vine which results in wines of great concentration and flavour. This one could do with a little bit of time but it will be worth the wait.
Terre Brulees means Roasted Earth, this is a blend from 20- 60 year old vines. Deeply concentrated with rich dark fruits, hints of liquorice and coffee on the finish. I would drink this with a tender piece of beef.
A wine designed to embrace all that is good about both the old and new world. A richly fruited red with a spicy, savoury core. One for roasted game.
100% Syrah, this red is brimming with redcurrants and raspberries. A little lighter than wines from its more well known neighbours but you'll still enjoy the full, richly fruited palate the Northern Rhone does so well.
Meaty Cairanne, with good bramble fruit and pleasing spice, a wonderful example of what the Rhone can bring you. Give it some good food, a beef stew would be a great match.
