Volnay typically produces elegant, light and fragrant styles of Pinot. A smooth, silky red with a great purity of fruit.

Whilst he makes wine with his wife Michele, he also has a negociant business buying grapes that are grown to his spec and produces a couple of wines. This is one of them.

Fixin generally makes quite structured wines with sturdy tannins. Another great wine from M. Bouvier that whilst agreeable now with time in a decanter, it will improve with bottle age.
