Rhone

OK, so it's a Vin de Pays but in spirit this has Rhone written all over it. A rich blend of Roussanne and Marsanne which is perfumed and aromatic.

Although famous for their red Chateauneuf, white may well be what Beaucastel do best. Their old vines Roussanne is legendary, and this white Cotes du Rhone is superb; full yet elegant, creamy, leesy and very complex.

This Viognier is essentially de-classified Condrieu, from vineyards just on the edge of the grape's heartland, and knocks the socks off many of it's more illustrious neighbours. Pure class, it is full and powerful with lots of spice, rich stone fruit and fantastic balance.
