Well, I have loved Ata Rangi's Pinot Noir for quite some time. This is their Sauvignon and it is completely and utterly stunning! The velvet glove to marlborough's iron fist.

From an Island in the middle of the bay off Auckland comes this brilliantly made Chardonnay with a great balance of elegant vanilla oak and tropical, melon and pineapple fruit. Pretty mature, too.

A more intellectual Kiwi Sauvignon this, with a singular minerality along with the textbook fruit.

This Gewurz hails from the Gisborne region just north of Hawkes bay. Aromatic and floral with those unmistakeable turkish delight flavours.

One of the very first Kiwi Sauvs to go for the quality over quantity market. Pungent and powerful with masses of Gooseberry fruit.

We've know the Sauv for some time but this delicious Chardonnay is new on us - beautifully balanced but in that typically full bodied Kiwi style.

We've stocked this for years but it's on great form at the moment - a bit cheaper than many of the higher-end Kiwi Sauvignons too.

Handcrafted from carefully selected parcels of grapes, this is a fresh, subtle and delicate white from Marlborough. Not one to miss if you're a Sauv fan (the '06 especially to see that the wines can age).
