The MAGDALENA TOSO is made in minute amounts and drawing on the best 33 barrels of the cellar. It is made with such care that the winemaker Paul Hobbs has his signature on each of the bottles. Mainly Malbec (95%) with a fraction of Cabernet Sauvignon (5%) to add structure and compound the aging ability this wine is undoubtedly one the greatest Malbecs created.

Grape: 95% Malbec & 5% Cabernet Sauvignon

Region: Mendoza, Argentina

Soil Type: Granitic & volcanic

Winemaking: Barrel ageing: 24 months in new French Oak & 18 months ageing in bottle before release

ABV: 14.3%

Tasting Note
Absolutely sublime; powerful yet elegant, dark & brooding yet vibrant and inviting. Raspberries, chocolate, vanilla, damsons & spice - this is one for the long term. If money didn't come into the equation I would buy 12 of these and drink one each year for the next 12 years!

Could drink now but will cellar for the next 10 years or so..
