Well hello! This is a complex, contemplative wine full of elegant dark fruits, rich spicy flavours and floral aromas. THe tannins are supple and integrated and oak ageing adds a touch of toastiness. If the recently enjoyed 2000 is anything to go by, this is well worth laying down for a few years!

Former winemaker for Penfolds, John Duval has produced a near perfect example of the traditional Barossa blend. If you love Barossa reds, this one will be your best friend.

Get a load of the nose on this! The Adelaide Hills provide near perfect conditions fot optimising the fragrant elements of this grape. HOwever it doesn't stop there, the herbal dark fruit and spice translate with clarity to the palate.

Cool climate Shiraz is Great! A fine balance between fruit, tannins and delicate elegance. Cigar box, chocolate and spice are tied up with a dainty finish of acidity.

Tasmania's cooler climate makes it far more suitable for Pinot Noir than the Australian mainland, and who better to make it than the region's pioneer, Andrew Pirie. The Estate Pinot has a seductive, typically Pinot nose, with a medium palate with rich fruits and distinct oak flavours (the most noticeable on any of our new world Pinots). A great addition to the collection.

Nicely integrated, with a good balance of the two varietals, great fruit and spice and a silky smooth texture.
